They’ll dress up for their first day as a warden, manage their designated patch, learn first aid, identify different aircraft and run ARP errands to understand the responsibilities of keeping communities safe during bombings.
Pupils will also meet a local housewife and learn about shopping for rationed goods, dig for victory, find out about limited food supplies, prepare a family for taking shelter during an air raid, trade goods and discover the importance of making do and mending!
