Key stage 3 school visits to Basing House
Basing House suffered greatly at the hands of Oliver Cromwell during the English Civil War. Drawing on this history, we offer a key stage 3 workshop on the English Civil War looking it the weapons used in battle and the impact of the war on Basing House.

In addition to our facilitated educational workshops, the ruins of Basing House include extensive and stunning grounds providing an opportunity for self-led learning about wildlife & habitats, and how one site of national historical significance has developed and changed over time.
